I Can't Believe It's Not Barrier is a Middleweight robot armed with a set of lifting forks, created by Team Mongoose.
It was originally designed as a direct clone of Team Gemini's highly successful past champion Barrier, employing a pun on the well-known spread I Can't Believe It's Not Butter to form its name. After a while, its lifting arm was redesigned to more easily get underneath opponents.
Its first tournament was Robot Bastards, where it performed surprisingly well for a design that was essentially over a decade old. It went 9-3 in the main tournament, before losing in the playoffs to No Patrol.
