Robot statistics correct as of its most recent competition

Industrial Bastardization is a Superheavyweight thwackbot created by KodeBreaker of Team Covenant. He is a bulgy cylindrical shaped robot with a long arm, featuring giant S7 tool steel spikes on either end of the arm to maximize collision damage. He also has a whopping 10cm ground clearance for easy driving over other robots, and features a huge wedge in front for getting under other robots. His previous version was less wide, had a bit more bulge, and had two rear half-cylinders to prevent getting stuck on his ass.

Industrial Bastardization is one of Team Covenant's most successful robots to not win a tournament, losing to Jack Frost in the FRR: Dead Zone SHW finals.

Industrial Bastardization took part in Crazy Bots: New Breed City, and would have likely had an unbeaten run in the tournament if he hadn't forfeited to former teammate Fulcrum in the semi-finals, due to KodeBreaker suddenly dropping out. He went 11-1.

Industrial Bastardization was planned to be revised for upcoming tournament Ruination: The Upheaval, but was switched at the last second for Tax Cutter.

Overall Record[]

  • Wins: 20
  • Losses: 4

  • Industrial Bastardization's prototype was nowhere near his final design. He was originally intended to be a Copperhead-style rammer with a similar colour-scheme, only with more red.
  • There are a few backstories behind his name origin as well. Kody thought this idea up while working at an industrial factory, and believed he was being corrupted or 'bastardized' by the monotony of the workplace. There is also the meaning that robot combat is an industrial sport and this robot bastardizes its opponents in battle.
  • Theme: "Body Hammer" by industrial metal artist Fear Factory. The song title and lyrics are very appropriate with the robot.
