Pyrite is a lightweight robot designed and built by Badnik96 of Team Ignition. Its was a standard horizontal thwackbot for its first two tournaments, but since has been converted into an overhead thwack. Pyrite has competed in two competitions so far, both of which it finished with a record of 5-4. It is also currently registered to compete in FRR: Backlash.
Pyrite was the first robot that Badnik rendered in 3D when he learned how to use Rhino.
