Ruination: The Contagion is a round-robin style league, and the third of the Ruination series of tournaments by KodeBreaker of Team Covenant. It took place from September 2015 to February 2016 and featured 56 competitors and 14 in each weight class, slightly less than the last tournament, Ruination: The Omen. In total, there were 16 weeks, 13 for each season week and 3 for the play-offs. It used three different arenas for the regular season, eschewing Lumina Cloth as its lack of popularity in the previous tournament did not go over well, and solely the Battlegrounds arena for the post-season. It used an updated version of the ARC Rules and Regulations as the standard guidelines. Its stat sheet carried over from Robot Bastards in having 5 standard stat categories. This is the first Ruination tournament to not have the Wedge stat.
