Team Ignition (Previously Team Rhino and Reptilian Robotics) is a fantasy robotics team headed by Dylan McCarthy, screen name Badnik96. The team's original name was based on one of his favorite fantasy designs back when BattleBots aired, named Rhino. This was changed to Reptilian Robotics following ARC Armageddon, and eventually to Team Ignition after Ruination: The Beginning. Team Ignition is Dylan's real-life robotics team, and he currently competes across the northeastern US with various insect-weight robots.
Team Ignition currently has five championship wins under its belt:
- Redline won Robot Bastards in the lightweight division
- The Debilitator won Cherry Bomb Classic 1 in the lightweight division
- Pyrite won FRR: Backlash in the lightweight division
- Sling Shot won Bot O' Rama 2016 in the sportsman division
- Doomerang won Robot Fight Night in the heavyweight division
