Team Obscure is a French military movement masquerading as a robot fanfic team under the captain's name of Bob. It is believed he is also a robot, but then who isn't?
Team Obscure's most infamous happenings in the fanfic robot combat world include being the forefather of melty-FBSes (although not really knowing what they were), defeating incredibly half-assed redesigns of past champions, and then reaching play-offs only to forfeit out of all his spots. We suspect the latter is due to some crossed wires in his design altering his memory banks. This is most evident by the majority of his comments containing more ellipses than actual words.
His most notable entry is Golden Blaze, which has morphed anywhere from a sit-n-spin hybrid, to a basic ring spinner, to a toaster.[citation needed]
Bob appears to regularly malfunction or to have had his emotional synthesizers calibrated by a self-indulgently depressive teenage boy much enamored with all things 'dark' and 'edgy'. His programming appears so fragile, in fact, that researchers still haven't been able to determine precisely what stimuli cause him to go into his periodic tailspins of self-loathing, attention-seeking, and knowingly futile rebellion against authority (usually in the form of whatever mod happens to be on Discord who tells him to cram it). Studies are ongoing, and it is hoped that the knowledge gained will assist in the design of future first round losers.
