Vesta (affectionally named VesVes by her builder) is a funky little lightweight created by KodeBreaker of Team Covenant. In both iterations she features a unique take on the hammerbot - a whip-like mechanism to bring a great weight smashing down on the opponent! Due to its restricted plane of motion, its function is barely different than a normal hammer, but it sure looks cool, right?
The first Vesta.
The first version of Vesta featured a front curved scoop and a rear pronged wedge, while the current version has a wide scoop and exposed tires at the rear when the rear spike attachments are removed. In both versions the decorative "shoulderpads" cover the 2 wheels.
Vesta competed in Cherry Bomb Classic and made it to the semi-finals with a controversial win over Mordor along the way. It fell to Team Ignition's The Debilitator in a judges' decision.
Vesta was scheduled to appear in Cherry Bomb Classic 2, but was switched with Scarab at the last minute. It is unknown if Vesta will ever return, as KodeBreaker designed a new lightweight hammerbot, Renka, and seems to find it a better design.
