WhipCoil is Team Ignition's flagship middleweight robot. It has been competing since the team's debut in ARC: Armageddon, and made its latest appearance in Reign of Steel. Its best peformance was in League of Robotic Excellence: Season 1, where it made the semifinals. Over the years, it has evolved from a Complete Control-esque grabber/lifter to a very Diesector-like machine with its signature serrated jaws.
WhipCoil also occasionally moonlights as a heavyweight, picking up its first championship that way in KodeBreaker's Crash and Burn Tournament 5. More recently, this heavyweight version of WhipCoil has gone under the name LashCoil.
